~S!~ Sirs:
I want to introduce myself: My virtual name is II./JG1_Lang and I am a member of II./JG1. We are one of the oldest online squadrons on the net with a resume dating back to 1992! Please check out our website
www.jg1.org
We are a non-political organization which is interested in the history of aviation, online tournaments, and rigorous training. As an online squadron, we are quite large - we have around 30 active members - active membership can be retained only through consistent attendance of weekly training and online wars.
We are always looking for likeminded organizations to work with during online wars such as Forgotten Skies, Clash of Titans and Scorched Earth. Are you interested in reviewing a new such war?
If you are, I'd like to introduce to you a torunament called Forgotten Skies. I am enclosing the link to the main Forgotten Skies website:
www.forgottenskies.com/ForgottenWars/default.aspx
Forgotten Skies is being run three nights a week - Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 2100 EDT. All missions are in DF format allowing pilots to do multiple sorties, keeping mission launch times punctual and making us fight against human opponents at all times. Each pilot has only one life per mission, so if you are captured or killed, you won't get to fly for the remainder of the mission.
Right now, Forgotten Skies is about to launch a new campaign - Crimea 1944 and if you choose to give this tournament a shot, you would be able to participater from the beginning.
In terms of the Forgotten Skies community, you will find many familiar faces from HyperLobby - the 609_IAP, the AKA, the 352nd FG, BP, BM, II./JG1, 3./JG51 and STS.
We have a staff of 3 commanders who usually plan the missions and they typically look very immersive with Operations Orders, callsigns, rally points, altitudes, etc. All that is required by most pilots is to feel comfortable executing typical military objectives such as offensive/defensive CAP, intercepts, escorts, etc.
Each war night will usually bring about 15 to 20 pilots on each side, so the complexity of operations is quite significant. However, with recruitment efforts like this one, we would like to expand the arena to 30-40 pilots on each side.
Anyway, if you are interested in joining, you can find important information in the enclosed links.

Hope to see you in the virtual skies.
